Dr Andrew Mitchell is a Senior General Surgeon who is committed to providing safe, evidence-based surgical care. He has extensive experience across a wide range of abdominal surgical procedures and is known for his calm, supportive, and patient-centred approach.

Dr Mitchell has a special interest in skin cancer surgery, shaped by many years of practice in Queensland and Western Australia, regions with some of the highest rates of skin cancer in Australia. His work in these areas has strengthened his focus on early detection, careful surgical management, and supporting patients to understand and maintain their skin health.

His clinical practice also includes gall bladder surgery, hernia repair, the removal of subcutaneous lesions (including lipomas), and the surgical treatment of ingrown toenails.
