Born and raised in Malaysia, Dr Priyadarshini (Priya) Murugiah completed her MBBS at the University of Adelaide. With an internship at Modbury Hospital and later at Lyell McEwin Hospital, Dr Priya had a wide range of medical and surgical experiences. She completed GP training in South Australia and worked at various rural clinics within the Riverland and Barossa Valley regions, participating in GP clinics, nursing homes visits and the Emergency roster at the local hospitals. She continued working in Riverstone NSW before moving to Phillip Medical and Dental Centre, ACT.

Dr Priya enjoys all sorts of medicine with a special interest in paediatrics, chronic disease management and women’s health. Outside of work, Priya enjoys reading books as well as spending time with family and friends.
